Hertford Town Council is delighted to share that its Hertford Play Day will take place on Wednesday 6th August 2025 at Hertford Castle from 11.00am to 4.00pm. The event is running in conjunction with ‘National Play Day’ – a day to encourage and celebrate children’s play.
Hertford Play Day is FREE and children and families are most welcome to come along and join us for fun activities including circus skills, Lego Masterbuilders, face painting and garden games. Food, drink and craft stalls will also be available on the Hertford Castle lawn throughout the event.
Councillor Ann Woodward, Chair of the Development and Leisure Committee commented: “It’s finally the summer holidays, so if you are looking for something to keep the children entertained, then please do join us at this free event set in the beautiful grounds of Hertford Castle. The opportunity to play is so very important and the Council is excited to be able to provide a space for children of all ages to enjoy a variety of fun outdoor activities.”
