Small Changes - Make a Difference

We are asking local schools and youth groups to help shape our Environmental Sustainability Strategy.

As well as our survey, we have put together some educational packs for Hertford's children and young people to get involved and have fun while thinking about what they would like the Council to consider as we work together to make Hertford carbon neutral by 2030.

The packs are full of fun, educational activities to engage and inspire young minds. These resources are perfect for use in classrooms, youth groups, or at home, and are aimed at fostering a love for nature and sustainable living.

Here are the educational packs for downloads:

Key Stage 1 -

Key Stage 2 -

Secondary -

Youth groups such as Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts and Guides are all most welcome to use the most appropriate age pack - perhaps helping to work towards any 'green' badges.

Please do share thoughts, ideas and drawings with the Council on social media or via: hertford2023@hertford.gov.uk

Please use this email address to request a Canva link for easy customization and sharing.
