This outstanding organist reaffirms the cherished tradition of organ music with every performance he gives and his devotion to Bach led him to devise a landmark project, commissioning contempory composers to "fill in the gaps" of Bach's famous Orgelbuechlein. This forms the backbone of the recital which is interspersed with contributions by Featured Living Composers Peter Fribbins, Alan Mills and James Francis Brown, David Bednall and Stephen Barber. The recital ends with Elgar's Organ Sonata No. 2 in B flat. All Saints' Church has a fine Willis organ which has been extensively renovated.
