Hertford Castle Open Air Cinema
Hertford Castle will host a day of open-air cinema screenings with the Castle as its backdrop, with two family films scheduled during the daytime and an evening performance.
Spectators are welcome pitch up their picnic chairs in the summer sun, snack and sit back to relax and enjoy the movie magic.
Traders will be serving refreshments throughout the screenings. Previous showings have all sold out so tickets must be purchased in advance.

The Castle grounds can be accessed by foot at any of the following pedestrian gates, Castle Street, St Andrew Street Car Park, Main Castle Gate off The Wash, through the Moat Garden on Castle Street, or the gate off of Gascoyne Way. The Main Lawn can be accessed by two points only for security checks.
There is no parking at Hertford Castle (including disabled) but there are a number of car parks close to the Castle which are free to use on Sundays. Please click here to download a map of the local car parks.
Toilets are located to the side of the main lawn on the footpath by the Ashley Webb Shelter.
First aid is located on the main lawn.
