Hertford Arts Trail
The annual Hertford Arts Trail 2021 is BACK and is running from Monday 12th April to Saturday 8th May.
The Hertford Arts Trail is back and the visitors will be able to enjoy a month long art trail around the town centre for free.
Last year over 40 talented artists showcased their work during the Hertford Art Trail. Each artist is allocated a prime town centre location to exhibit and sell artwork for a month-long period.
The pop-up art exhibition venues is located around the town centre, where venues consist of a multitude of retailers including bars and cafes, beauty salons, clothes retailers & gift shops.

COVID-19 Secure Event
Hertford Town Council and Courtyard Arts are happy that lockdown restrictions enabled the scheduled event to take place and that visitors will are able to safely attend this event.
To take part in the trail, families should visit Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre, in The Wash opposite Hertford Theatre, to pick up a trail map or download one from gohertford/events.

Hertford Town Council declared a Climate Emergency in July 2023 and has committed to taking action to protect human health and our natural world to the maximum extent its powers allow. We therefore encourage people to visit the Castle and attend our events by public or active transport. The two Hertford railway stations, Hertford North and Hertford East, are a short walk from the Castle, and bus services are available to the Wash and Hertford bus station. Please visit National Rail for live train times and Intalink for bus routes.
