Love Hertford Awards

Voting for the Love Hertford Awards winners has now opened. Visitors and residents are able to cast a vote for their favourite retailers and businesses.

The competition is organised by Hertford Town Council and aimed to recognise and commend traders in the county town of Hertfordshire. The Awards highlight the wealth of shops and services on offer in our town centre and neighbourhood shopping areas, and is aimed to encourage residents to shop locally.

The Love Hertford Awards Committee have shortlisted three finalists from each category, from businesses who had entered in the first stage of the competition.

It is now over to the public, the residents of Hertford & people who visit and shop in the town, to vote for your preferred winner in the categories listed below.
Fashion
Pub or Restaurant
Café or Fast Food
Hair and Beauty
Health and Wellbeing
Home and Interiors
Community and Voluntary
Food and Drink Retailers
Professional Services

The rules are simple:
• Please only vote for one trader / business / service per category
• You do not have to vote in every category
• Traders will be judged as much on the quality of their service as the number of votes, so do leave comments of your experience and why you are voting for your preferred choice

Businesses can collect a nomination form from the Town and Tourist Information Centre or enter online by visiting www.gohertford.co.uk

Voting closes at 4pm on Friday 26th April.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at St Andrew’s Church on Thursday 23rd May.

The Love Hertford Awards have been introduced to celebrate and recognise the array of county town businesses. The competition aims to promote and support the local businesses and replaces the Cheerful Trader competition.
