You are invited to the Hertford Volunteer Fair on Saturday 26th January at the Mill Bridge Rooms between 10am and 4pm.
The event is being organised by Hertford Town Council, the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre, and in partnership with #TeamHerts Volunteering.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to fill spare time, meet new friends, learn new skills, revisit old skills, obtain valuable work experience for your CV, make a difference to someone's life, and be part of a sector worth millions of pounds to the community.
There will be up to 15 organisations available to discuss local volunteering opportunities including, Age Uk, Alzheimer's Society, CHIPS Play, Fostering in Hertfordshire, Guideposts, Isabel Hospice, Mudlarks, Mind in Mid-Herts, Parkinson's UK, Rethink, and Stanstead Abbotts Scouts.
These organisations seek volunteers from all walks of life: Chips take volunteers from 12 years of age, Isabel Hospice seek drivers, if you are an empathetic people person and like to help others, Guideposts, Age UK and most of the other organisations would like to meet you?
Find out how you could, and why you would, become a volunteer by visiting the Hertford Volunteer Fair at the Mill Bridge Rooms on 26th January between 10am and 4pm. The Frying Pan are offering discount on fish and chips to all those who attend the Fair.
