Hertford Castle Beer and World Food Festival

Hertford Castle Beer and World Food Festival

As part of the Hertford Food and Drink Festival, Hertford Town Council present you with the Hertford Castle Beer and World Food Festival. An afternoon filled with worldly tastes, real ales and live music to get all your senses singing!

With a beer tent offering a selection of golden ales, bitters, porters, pale ales and local ciders, alongside a fully stocked bar with plenty of Prosecco, cocktails, gins and wine, this event is not to be missed. With over fifteen world food stalls exhibiting, there is something for everyone. Get your taste buds singing with delicious catering offerings including Caribbean, BBQ, Spanish and Thai cuisines. There will also be live music throughout the afternoon for guests to enjoy.

Entry policy, and terms and conditions

There will be one entry and one exit point onto the Castle Lawn for this event. To enter the event, please make your way to far side of the lawn (furthest away from the river) next to the conservatory end of the Castle.

In order to keep everyone safe, there is a maximum limit on the number of guests allowed in the event at any one time. Once this capacity is reached, the gates will be closed and a one-out, one-in system will be implemented. If you are asked to queue, please be patient. Guests will be allowed in as soon as it is safe to do so.

Entry is FREE of charge, but donations are welcome, for the Mayor of Hertford’s Appeal Fund, this year raising money for Isabel Hospice and the Samaritans.

Test and trace (QR code and paper) will be available for those who wish to provide their details.

We ask you to please continue to act carefully and remain cautious whilst at this event. Please be considerate to other attendees and maintain a social distance.

Please do not attend if you have any Covid19 symptoms.
