From the opulent to the intimate and exclusive at Hertford Castle we can work with the caterer of your choice, to ensure that your wedding breakfast is a truly memorable occasion.

The Salisbury Room can accommodate a formal sit down reception for a maximum of 42 during the day. A further 50 guests can join the celebration in the evening, by incorporating the Mayor's Parlour and the Conservatory.

The Downshire Suite comprises the two rooms and the conservatory, can accommodate an informal standing buffet reception for a maximum of 100 guests. The finger buffet would normally be set up in the Mayor's Parlour allowing for some occasional seating in the Salisbury Room and a bar can be set up in the Old Conservatory.

Dancing is permitted and a small disco or live band can be accommodated. Early consultation with the Functions Team is advisable to discuss restrictions and avoid disappointment.
